Lavender Pork Chops
This recipe for Lavender Pork Chops is delicious! This is a simple and mild dish that really brings out the flavor of the meat. Serve with your favorite side dishes. My choice would be your basic baked potato and mixed vegetables.

2-4 pork chops, about 3/4-inch (2 cm) thick 1/2 teaspoon dried culinary lavender 2 teaspoons minced thyme leaves 1 teaspoon minced rosemary leaves 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil Combine lavender, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, with olive oil; rub mixture onto the pork chops. Cover the chops with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours. Can be broiled or grilled. •Grill - Place on hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes; flip and cook for 3-4 minutes; ensure thoroughly cooked •Broil - Place on broiler pan approximately 4 inches (10 cm) from broiler heat source. cook for 4-5 minutes; flip and cook for 3-4 minutes; ensure thoroughly cooked If using a meat thermometer, cook until internal temperature of meat is 170ºF (77ºC). Serve with side dishes and enjoy with friends and family.
